question, what kind of brushes do you use? soft? hard? textured? do you attune your opacity or brush size to pressure [when painting]?

thanks ^^

I usually have opacity set to pen pressure, and I usually use the default round brush, the chalk brush, and a triangle brush. I use a soft brush occasionally for effects and glazing and stuff

Daniel do you do your digital stuff with a Cintiq? I'm finding it hard to keep clean lines digitally *inking* with the pad I have, there's no screen on it, so I have to watch the monitor the entire time. Just wondering, thanks.

cool thanks. I have a hard time keeping clean lines when I'm inking on my digital pad, it still ends up looking VERY sketchy.

How did you get the sword swing effect?

To be honest I don't actually remember, I think it was a combination of filters with some tweaking afterward

Me too, I would like to find the right process to get the higher detail in less time. I really appreciate illustrators like Marko Djurdjevich that can complete complex type of illustrations in about 4 hours.
