More testing and experimenting for comic/animation style. I'd like to make an animated short with this aesthetic, but it would probably be unrealistic to try to do something like this on my own without it taking like ten years. One day I'll have the money to pay for a production team and equipment. Or maybe I'll be unreasonable and shoot for this for my thesis when/if I go to SCAD.

looks dope dude.
not unrealistic if you do a webcomic as storyboards for the animation. like use the exact panels for animation etc. just have both in mind at all times.... ive been experimenting with the idea of actually developing my comic characters into a low poly form. that way i can just repose them/ repaint them according to each shot. also i can use the posed shots for an animation later on....
but yeah you dont have to pay for a production team ;D
just find people that want to work on an indie project with the idea that it will eventually be pitched/sold

Very cool. Its so hard to paint in a simplified style. You did a great job!

thanks! As a style test I like how this one came out. I'm kinda looking forward to trying out more planned-out compositions and sequential stuff now.

I really like this Daniel, it took a while for my eyes to adjust to the colouring but I think this would looke great as a short.

I'm glad you liked it but why did your eyes have to adjust to the colors?

Well, I think its the use of flat colour of the character with the rendered backgrounds. It took me a second to take it all in.

I really like it though, looks like a film poster
