I've been meaning to start producing more illustrations, of which I have precious little of. I'm trying to break into the TCG scene to work for properties like Chaotic. Anyway I spent all day trying to think of what to paint, and while I was thinking of stuff, I did this speed painting. I feel like this would take place in the world where this guy is from ---->[link]

I had no idea what I was doing and just made it up as I went along.

That's well cool. I love the lighting and atmosphere. From the way the guy's standing it almost looks like he's bringing the ship down with some telekenesis shiz.

Hooray! More illustrations from Danny! You've always done an awesome job with backgrounds, especially with nailing the atmospheric perspective. Rocks always look good, too. How long did it take you to do this?

I think this BG is really crappy actually, but I appreciate the compliment. This took about an hour to an hour and a half. I wasn't keeping track but I don't think it went beyond 90 minutes. I've always ben terrible at unpolished work.
