I painted this right before SDCC, having gotten this random urge to paint the silver surfer as more of a surfer. Figuring out how to render the material of his body as I went was a pain in the ass, but I think overall it turned out alright. I intentionally put him at the tip of the surfboard to pay homage to the 60's style of surfing that my roommate had shown me some videos of. I thought it was kinda cool.

I kinda wish I drew this with cartoonier proportions, though.
